What a lucky day in the company of each other and all the animals whose paths you crossed today.

Sounds like a wonderful day. Being outside, answering questions with questions, seeing birds. Thank you for sharing.

You have some incredible country to show young people. Despite the 14 yr old distractions, she’ll remember the beauty throughout life. I am fortunate to have the Pacific Ocean to share with visitors. Enjoy your spring-summer months!

My best memories were with my grandfather exploring life, even if I wasn't always interested at the moment. At 62, I still remember all the details of our times spent together. These are special times with your granddaughter, she won't forget either.

This is beautiful. The sigh of seeing the phone. I feel it. The hard work of a teenager :( The modern day community. All of us succumbing to it, craving some connection. But... the beauty of God's earth all around you. She taking pictures, you noticing every detail around you. She is noticing when you don't think she is. All described so well. I'm sorry for your loss. For her loss. So difficult. What a beautiful grandfather you are. Grandparenting is the most special time in our lives. Thank you for this Robert. ox

This gave me tears…such a loving Tribute to the bond you have with her. She is safe on her phone, knowing you get it; silence doesn’t need to be filled. On the river with grandpa means more to her than you think. Thank you for this beautiful description of the creatures and scenes you witnessed. I hope she got a photo of you too! 🫶🥰❤️ Touching and beautifully written Robert!

So genuine and beautiful, Robert. So sorry for both of your losses. Thank you for sharing your talents and for being you- love the metaphors and felt like I could see you both together in your kayaks connecting with nature and each other. Priceless times. All Blessings.
